Duluth, passed away March 18, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband Roy
“Chappy” Karon. Survived by daughter, Sandy Davis Lerner (Harry Lerner); son,
Stuart (Cynthia) Karon; grandchildren, Elizabeth Miller (Tim Johnston),
Richard (Cheryl) Davis, David (Lynne) Davis, Rose, Grace and Emilia Eve
Karon; great grandchildren, Abigail, Sophia, Cassie, Suzy, Lexi, Ella and
Audrey; former son-in-law, Michael W. Davis. Evelyn was born in Minneapolis
and graduated from North High in Jan. of 1928. She worked in accounting at
Sears until Feb. 1937, when she married and moved to Duluth where she helped
in the family business. She was a Past President of the Duluth Council of
Jewish Women and was active in many organizations supporting her children
such as the PTA. Funeral service 10:00 am, WEDNESDAY at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324
Emerson Ave. So. Memorials are preferred to Temple Israel. SHIVA , 7:00pm
